Un impulso nos lleva a avanzar, a sobrevivir, a crecer, a evolucionar, a desarrollarnos, a soñar, a tratar de alcanzar nuestros sueños, a sortear obstáculos, a resolver problemas, a elegir a pesar nuestro, a renunciar, a dejar ir, a afrontar, afrontar y afrontar. 

En el proceso, nos vamos pensando a nosotros mismos, nos vamos conociendo y preguntando por nuestra existencia, por el sentido que tiene esta vida que estamos viviendo. Nos conectamos con los “para qué”, los “cómo”, los “cuándo” y los “con quién” y, mientras tanto, seguimos andando. Porque la vida es eso, movimiento. Un movimiento imparable, permanente, inexorable, inevitable.

Amamos la vida más que a nada, porque su opuesto es justamente eso, lo que no es, lo que no está. En ese devenir de la existencia no nos queda otra opción que ser y hacer. Pero si queremosencontrar paz y bienestar en nuestro interior, necesitamos determinar qué queremos ser y qué tenemos que hacer para lograrlo. Nada está dado, nada es fijo, estático, invariable, pues simplemente vamos siendo en la inefable experiencia de vivir. Finalmente uno llega a ser quien elige ser, lo realice por acción o por omisión.

La vida también implica una responsabilidad. Aun cuando no esperemos nada de ella, ella sí espera algo de nosotros. Imperiosamente nos pide movimiento, acción y evolución. Para dar respuesta a esa demanda, necesitamos tomar conciencia de que somos más que nuestra vida individual, de que necesitamos ir más allá de nosotros mismos y aspirar a trascender. Ese es nuestro verdadero compromiso.
